1. Candidates
must have passed in a recognized Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E/B.Tech)
in relevant discipline with a minimum mark of 50%. Candidates who belong to reservation
category (SC/ST) should have 45% in this case.
OR
2. Candidates
should have passed any one of the certificate programmes equivalent to B.E/B.Tech,
conducted by professional bodies / societies (A.M.I.E). This programmes must be
recognized by ministry of human resource development (HRD), Government of
India.
OR
3. Candidates
having regular full time degree in Relevant field with 2 years’ experience
after completion of degree including project work.
Production
of experience certificate /10+2+AMIE /10+3 years’ diploma +AMIE during counselling
is compulsory

Candidate
1. Candidates
having valid gate score in engineering and technology discipline are also
eligible to apply for TANCET
2. GATE
papers Engineering science(XE) and Life science (XL) are also eligible
IMPOTANT NOTE:
Candidates applying with Gate category should also appear for TANCET 2016 exam
